If you think Freddy Magid is a Scam Artist, a Thief and/or a LIAR, well who did he work for and who allowed him perform the way he did at their resort?
Freddy Magid worked at Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa, location in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
We met Freddy at the Playa Grande Resort, which by the way is a very beautiful resort. However, one must wonder about the integrity of the resort, because Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa employed him in “Upper Management” as their V.P. The resort provided him with the location, use of the facility, all the tools from the supporting partners and agencies, which allowed him to made promises and tell believable stories. But as time goes by, we are now finding out what he promised isn’t becoming reality and Playa Grande Resort states they are not involved in this transaction.
In an email received on 4-17-09 from Playa Grande Resort, we were informed that Freddy Magid no longer works at Playa Grande Resort. Most stand up forth right businesses would support and honor promises, especially written ones made by their senior management. But NOT the Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa, in an email received from the resort after they were sent a copy of our 1-22-09 email to Freddy listing the 10 outstanding items, they wrote “Please be informed that Playa Grande Resort is not involved in this transaction as our ownership agreements state that we do not handle any type of rentals or resales." (click to see full email from Dulce Calleros of Playa Grande Resort on 4-17-09) Reading the above email and comments from Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa do you think this resort is interested in customer service and fulfilling the promises their V.P. made? Do you also feel this is another scheme that these resorts use, employ sales personnel for a short period of time, then say, that person doesn't work here anymore, we can't do anything for you. Another interesting email was received from Playa Grande Resort in May 2009, in the email they sent a survey. This survey was asking questions concerning only invoicing issues, for payments on contract and maintenance fees. As you can see, the Playa Grande Resort is quite interested in making sure money is coming in, but won't do anything for customer service or honoring key employees promises.
Below is a copy of one of the sales slip from our Playa Grande Resort transaction, we have marked off our name, signature and account numbers. How many legitimate business's would stamp on their sales slip in big bold letters NON-REFUNDABLE? By stamping it with NON- Refundable, do you think the resort knew their sales (upper management) employees where telling lies, then the customer would try to back out of the transaction? Do you think Bank of America, who provided the credit card, is part of the scheme and instructed the resort to stamp NON-REFUNDABLE on the sales slips? Many questions and red flags all pointing toward the same businesses which are obviously working together.
Does the stamped NON-REFUNDABLE on the sales slip make you wonder that Playa Grande Resort and Bank of America had every attention of ripping it's customers off? Is this the type of resort or bank you, your family, friends or coworkers want to do business with? If you don’t feel they are worthy of your business, then consider boycotting the resort and also all their affiliated properties and restaurants.
